  • So what about South Africa

The crown of Africa.....what does it have to offer....many many experiences....not just hunting...like how i heard

that,...American come for game hunting...see in SA...they call it culling...which is fine.....but the way the Afrikans were putting it....these people come for trophies....shoot down a caged lion...and worst... not knowing it was caged....

the trouble seems to never go away in Africa...it seems like a lost jungle.... in many peoples mind...it still is the African jungle......

.the cabby i told you about... Issac..was laughing at all the prejudice done to him and all his family...and yet

... he was still in the present...concerned for his daughter who was a going the wrong way...drugs...

he told me...all this while he was driving me...to Dove's Nest....that people were kept in townships....like one village...you cannot go and relocate..cannot marry outside...not seen in other townships at night and..

certainly not in town...if you don't have a night pass.....only night workers have a night pass.....you will arrested....he was arrested once..for being in the wrong house....in the same street...his brother's house.....

there was a word which he said..it was the Buss or some word..that was what was taught in school...for blacks...just to obey commands...and orders....

not too much thinking..and those who did and can study...when on to study..but ended up doing menial work.....my ...my.....

I ended up having coffee with him, after reaching Dove's Nest....it was nice...

that night...I had a different view...

this time I was with some Afrikans...they were Afrikans..a difference they are proud of from the British.....

they have their own...problems albeit being white...both these 2 groups.....that's africa..for anyone who thinks it's only white and black......

they were nice young blokes....brendt...and louie...

    they knew...

and when in a discussion brendt...did say...we were thaught what to do and we we told to do it this way.....what can we do....

I saw his sincerity....i knew then...it was hard for the country...it will or might take another 2 to 3 generation to lose the hate...to mingle as one....

I liked those guys for another reason..they said they don't intend to move.....it was nice to see people care..for their country...altough..much is against them.....

there aren't many white people on the city these days....too afraid to go or just don't have any biusiness there.....

this was another cabby...see i went on a tour to constitution hill and around Jo'burg.....saw where ghandi was incacerated...and the rest of my Indians....all wearing coats tough....

Many people might think only about the aparthied era....but i hope some would want to look at the future for South Africa.....and think how to reconcile...

It's in sambbles...so many people are broken.....they need mending.....only time can perhaps mend them or maybe another person like Mandela can too.....

It is time to wake up for the blacks.....they have their freedom...it is time for them to build...a nation..not making the same mistakes....

for the whites to get it right, trusting....the blacks....it's a long road ahead.....

  • The Beauty of Sothern Africa

I went to Zambia straight from Jo'burg. It was a pleasant airport but people have warned me and also the internet. The things which goes on in Jo'burg.

I will tell you later about the 2 days I spent there and the differing views of Black & White people, there were Indians too.but no views from them tough.

Zambia, Lusaka was a very interesting place, people always say that they are peaceful and they do mean it.
They are a bunch of nice people, like everywhere.

It was a modern place...things were changing...i guess economy was good....people were richer...and things were alot more expensive..perhaps it was the city..but things were expensive....

the electricity conservation...for the whole of Zambia...how people took it in their strides, without complaining was nice to see....

the frequent talk about doing this and that for the people...the villages..the peoples education and also many..many,,,construtive critism..in the newspapers...about the welfare of Zambians....

It was good to see...people educated...smart...knowing what was happening in their enviroment...and culture...they knew their political situation...

they knew where they were heading....most people know their strides as well....i mean....they were coping...but things were expensive...my fried Hendy was complining that it was exploitation....

where isn't exploitation...talk about Singapore....however,....these people knew their direction...it won't be easy to misguide them and derail this country...

that is how i felt about this fine, beautiful country....nice place..should head to the victoria falls.....which i didn't...i was busy...

I took a bus...from Lusaka to Jo'burg..had to cut throught Zim...land of Mugabe...yap....that was it....

gone...that's what most Zambians said in the bus...people were coming to Lusaka to buy things...

their billion dollar notes were nothing...yes

again..have you ever seen a billion dollar note which has an expiry date on it...try getting some it will create a good laugh....

We got stopped by coppers, what else they wanted.... money...

we were impounded that's what the cops told the bus driver with the people inside....

Zambians inside were laughing...all knew too well.....then... as said we were released after some drink money was given....

Next to Jo'burg...but i must tell you about the night sky..where we stopped to piss....

    The milky way...that's what i saw...so nicely..seen in the dark....my..what a slight..

I live too much in the city....and went wow...

when you get to see the beautiful stars...real.....jewels...so far out...and yet always makes you wonder....

Then Jo'burg.....a different story altogather...i was on gaurd...

the taxi driver...whom Chloa...got for me....

this was Henry's friends....he has friend's everywhere....i do mean it...we can't walk on the streets of Lusaka, without someone saying hi to him.....

so chola gets me a cab driver...we go to his place Dove's Nest in Kempton Park...ran by Mari and gaby....they are white folks...

I stress white and black..because it is White and Black...in SA....

while in the cab...i was still keeping my guard....not talking too much...then when i saw that we were heading in the right direction...then

    I stared conversing with Issac...the cabby....an old man...very graceful....

Like the one from Driving Miss Daisy...not Morgan Freemen...he can't drive...got into an accident lately...hehee...but he's fine....

so we speak...i ask him what is the story.....aparthied......my..my

tired now wanna go eat...will cont,,,,,soon....give me an hour....so
